Hyperlink Africa Urges Youth Climate Change Advocacy At Business Brands’ Conference 2021

The Business Brands’ Conference 2021 (#BBC21) is a networking and innovation avenue where over 100 businesses converge to share ideas, influence economies and build sustainable brands. Brands are key economic growth factor in our world. Just like brands are sustainable, this edition of #BBC21 seeks to share how brands can save our planet. Can brands use the same strategies and energy to support climate change?

The theme for this edition is ‘Creating and Influencing Sustainable Brands with Climate Change Actions’. An online event geared at bridging the gab between businesses and climate change advocacy. If brands could protect the world like they protect their brands, climate change advocacy would be sustainable. This event seeks to look for innovative ways we can make business contribute to the call for climate change actions. Instead of using fossil fuel, Glovo uses courier bikes; A smart way of contributing to climate change by reducing the emission of gas into the atmosphere. This is a perfect sustainable brand policy to climate change action.

John Dumelo; Agriculturist , Cordie Aziz; Founder of Environment360, Beverley Okoye; Climate Change Attaché at The British High Commission and Okyeame Kwame; Climate Change Ambassador are the speakers for this event. Happening from 5pm to 6pm  on the 27th November, 2021, there are already 30 registrations out of 100 expected attendees. Hyperlink Africa, the organisers of this event urge the youth to advocate for climate change actions. ‘We are the youth and the future of the world is based on our decisions today.
